I am a surgeon working in Lake shore Hospital in Kochi, a city in the state of Kerala at the southern tip of India. A stroke at the age of 39 left my left side considerably weakened, putting paid to my career as a surgeon. The scalpel, through which I communicated with the world, and expressed myself as an individual, being of no use to me since the stroke, I took to writing, as a means to express myself and to communicate with the world. this blog 'writerbychance' is part of my new-found passion.
